Constentful Web Forms

Today the Shorenstein Center published our design for Reversible Web Forms in the 2019 Privacy Forecast: privacy.shorensteincenter.org/fries.

I worked with Erika Harano, Grant Chinn to develop this workflow as part of our work on a consteful form workflow for the new Design Justice website.

This ideas was inspired by Una Lee's work on Building Consentful Tech which applies Planned Parenthood's definition of consent to software technology. According to these principles, technology on the web should be Freely Given, Reversible, Informerd, Enthusiastic, and Specific. We don't have existing patterns for reversibility on the web, and this project aims to provide one.
